DECOMMISSIONING

WHAT IS DECOMMISSIONING?

Decommissioning is the systematic process of taking inactive assets out of service, involving a range of activities necessary to prepare an organization to downsize, expand, relocate, or close its operations. This can include the removal and disposal of furniture, fixtures, or equipment, as well as the development of plans and strategies to manage the transition effectively. By carefully managing the decommissioning process, organizations can minimize disruption and maximize efficiency, ensuring a smooth transition to their new operational state.
