About CRS

CRS Specializes in Large-Scale FF&E Removal Projects

Commercial Removal Solutions, LLC, headquartered in Orange, CA, specializes in large-scale commercial property clean-outs and decommissioning services across the hospitality, retail, and workplace sectors on a national scale. We are committed to delivering exceptional client experiences, as we recognize that business transitions can be complex. Our solutions are crafted to be both cost-effective and environmentally responsible, ensuring that your needs are met while also considering the well-being of our planet.

We work in partnership with professionals such as commercial property managers, business owners, general contractors, and both large and small corporations. Our expertise and extensive network cultivate strong collaborations that drive project success and innovation for our clients.

Whether you are managing a hotel with 50 or 500 guest rooms that requires the removal of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for renovations, overseeing multiple retail centers with spaces ranging from 10,000 square feet to over 100,000 square feet that need complete clearance of all retail store fixtures, or handling an office space—be it a single office, high-rise building, or an entire corporate campus in need of office furniture clearance including desks, chairs, cubicles, and more—Commercial Removal Solutions (CRS) is ready to address your clean-out projects with efficiency and a commitment to excellence.

Donate

CRS manages the life cycle of hotel furnishings and surplus inventory from retail and office settings. We partner with schools, churches, furniture banks, and charities to repurpose unneeded furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). This creates a positive community impact, ensuring these resources benefit those in need. Together, we transform surplus into support for those who require it.

Recycle

When donation options for FF&E are not viable, we focus on recycling hotel appliances, retail fixtures, office cubicles, filing cabinets, and electronics. At CRS, we sort recyclables by material to enhance our efforts, minimizing landfill contributions and promoting sustainability. We aim to recycle as much as possible on every project, benefiting the environment and the community.

Dispose

When donation and recycling are impractical—either due to the FF&E being unsuitable for donation or the absence of viable recycling options—we partner with hauling companies that offer dumpsters in accordance with CRS's responsible disposal guidelines. If we manage the transportation of your FF&E ourselves, we strive to identify material recovery centers as preferable alternatives to landfills.

What We Do

CRS Swiftly Dismantles, Removes, & Disposes of FF&E in Your Area

Whether you're a hotel franchise group planning a renovation for one of your properties and need all furniture, fixtures, and equipment removed and disposed of, a retail property manager dealing with a tenant who has left behind an entire array of retail store fixtures that require disassembly and removal, or an organization preparing to shut down an office and needing all office furniture and cubicles cleared before your lease expires, CRS is here to assist with the disassembly, removal, and hauling away of your unwanted FF&E.

Our team of dedicated project managers will oversee your project from inception to completion, remaining on-site throughout the entire process. We will collaborate with you to devise an execution plan that minimizes disruption to your business. From sourcing labor for disassembly and removal to coordinating with vendors and securing necessary equipment—such as furniture moving tools, trucks, trailers, and dumpsters—we'll ensure everything operates smoothly and address any issues that may arise.

Finally, CRS is committed to making a positive impact on communities nationwide and the environment. Whenever possible, we strive to donate your unwanted FF&E to those in need, whether it’s a school, church, furniture bank, shelter, or other charitable organizations, helping to keep as much as possible out of landfills.

How it Works

Our Project Intake Process

When you select CRS for your hotel, retail, or office decommissioning project, we guarantee to streamline the process for a seamless and efficient experience. We understand that decommissioning can feel overwhelming, which is why our dedicated team is here to assist you at every step. From the initial consultation to the final execution, we work to minimize disruptions, empowering you to focus on your core operations with assurance.

Our project managers will uphold open communication from the very first meeting to the final walk-through. We are committed to meeting your expectations regarding the de-installation, removal, and disposal of your FF&E, whether it’s through resale, donation, recycling and responsible disposal.

CRS prioritizes an environmentally conscious strategy for your decommissioning project. We can donate hotel furniture, linens, and supplies to shelters or furniture banks, distribute surplus retail inventory to non-profits such as churches, or provide office furniture and stationery to local schools. Our mission is to contribute to the community, fostering a significant impact together.

Introduction

Contact CRS to start your project by clicking "Start a Quote," emailing bquinn@gowithcrs.com, or calling/texting (714) 208-3868. We’ll gather essential details like your project’s city/state, business type, FF&E we'll be removing, square footage, working hours, and your preferred start dates and timelines. If available, please provide floor plans and images of the space. Usually, we can prepare a proposal based on this information, but sometimes a walk-through may be needed, which we can facilitate.

Proposal

Upon receiving all necessary information or completing a walk-through of your commercial space, we will draft a proposal outlining the scope of work, project cost, and specified timeline. Once the proposal is finalized, it will be emailed to you and any relevant members of your organization for review.

Planning

After your team has reviewed the proposal and determined that it meets your requirements, we will start the planning phase for your commercial property clean-out project. Your assigned project manager will create a strategy to carry out your project as efficiently as possible. During this stage, your project manager will also begin sourcing labor, coordinating with vendors if necessary, procuring equipment and tools, and researching donation, recycling, and disposal facilities in your vicinity.

Execution

In the execution phase, your dedicated project manager will be on-site as scheduled, arriving on the predetermined day and time. They will connect with the moving team, vendors, equipment suppliers, and donation centers. Together, they will perform a walk-through of your commercial space, presenting the project to all CRS team members while pinpointing the FF&E that requires careful disassembly and removal, as well as what items will be donated, recycled, or disposed of. After this, we will begin our work, focusing on efficiency and striving to minimize any disruption to your operations.

Waste Management

Efficient waste management plays a crucial role in decommissioning, facilitating the highest possible levels of donation and recycling while adhering to local, state, and federal regulations. After the furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) have been cleared from your commercial space, they will be transported using a truck, trailer, or dumpster, depending on their designated fate of donation, recycling, or disposal. Ultimately, we will conduct a comprehensive cleanup of debris and trash, readying the area for its next purpose, whether that involves the conclusion of a lease or preparation for a renovation.

Completion

Upon the completion of all decommissioning steps, including disassembly and removal, and once your FF&E has reached its final destination—whether that be a donation facility, recycling center, or disposal site—and the area has been broom swept, we will conduct a walk-through with you or a representative from your organization to ensure it meets your expectations. Additionally, if you are unavailable for the walk-through, we can provide photos and/or video of the cleared space.

Hospitality

Whether you represent a hotel franchise group, manage a national hotel chain, operate a motel, run a resort or casino hotel, or are a general contractor gearing up to bid on a hotel renovation project that demands a comprehensive clean-out of the entire property—including guest rooms, lobby areas, fitness centers, spas, relaxation zones, swimming pools, meeting rooms, office spaces, as well as dining establishments and bars—CRS is here to support you every step of the way.

We take pride in our specialization in efficiently and sustainably removing all furniture, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring that the space is properly prepared for a successful renovation, seamless property sale, or transformation into new uses such as apartments, corporate offices, low-income housing, or shelters designed to assist those in need. Regardless of the specific requirements and complexities of your project, CRS is fully equipped, experienced, and ready to manage your hotel clean-out endeavor with professionalism and care.

Decommissioning

Decommissioning plays a crucial role in a business's transition, whether it involves renovation, downsizing, expansion, or closure. With numerous components involved in the decommissioning process, CRS simplifies the experience by expertly managing your project. We take care of all labor, vendor coordination, equipment sourcing, and responsible disposal, including donation and recycling.

Our commitment is to provide sustainable decommissioning solutions that positively impact both your business and the broader community and environment.

FF&E

FF&E, which stands for furniture, fixtures, and equipment, refers to items that aren’t permanently attached to a building’s structure and can be easily relocated. In the hospitality industry, it encompasses vital furnishings such as beds and lighting options that improve guest experience. In retail settings, FF&E includes display units, shelving, and signage designed to attract customers. For offices, it covers ergonomic desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and cubicles that enhance productivity. CRS is here to expertly manage all your FF&E removal requirements.

CRS specializes in the meticulous removal of FF&E, providing disposal options such as donations, recycling, or transferring materials to recovery centers when necessary. We emphasize environmentally responsible practices throughout the entire process, ensuring efficient removal while promoting sustainability so you can focus on your core business.

Project Management

Project management is the key to ensuring that your commercial property clean-out proceeds smoothly and is completed both efficiently and effectively. The entire process—from planning to execution to final completion—ensures that your commercial decommissioning project is finished on time and within budget.

Your dedicated project manager will oversee your entire project from start to finish, taking charge of planning, executing, and supervising labor and moving staff, alongside vendor coordination, equipment procurement, and waste management, including donations, recycling, and disposal. Your project manager will remain on-site throughout the working hours of the project and will be readily available via phone and email to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Save Time & Resources

Enlisting a professional company like CRS to manage the clearing of your commercial space can reduce risks of damage, injury, or fines from improper FF&E disposal. Transporting these items to the right facility, especially without knowledge of donation and recycling practices, can be overwhelming. Let CRS handle the decommissioning process so your staff can focus on their primary responsibilities.

Budget-Friendly

Decommissioning often goes unnoticed, leading companies to underestimate the expenses tied to clearing a commercial space. At CRS, we provide a budget-friendly solution for your project, being transparent about our pricing, and we can typically match or beat our competitors' written estimates.
